Terms of service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and IntroFirst when you use introfirst.com and your page on it. By signing up, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we store and who can see it.
Who can use IntroFirst
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- One account per person, under your real name. Accounts are for people, not companies or bots.
- You sign in with Google or Microsoft. Keep that account secure: anything done through your IntroFirst account is your responsibility.
Your content
- What you post on IntroFirst belongs to you, and you're responsible for it.
- You give us permission to store it, copy it as needed to run the service (backups, caching), and show it to the people you choose. That permission is only for running IntroFirst, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire.
- Things you've sent to someone else, like a message, stay with them after you delete your copy.
- Only post what you have the right to post.
Your address
Your address (yourname.introfirst.com) is yours to use while your account is open. It can't pretend to be someone else or use another person's or company's name or trademark without the right to. We may take back an address that does, and we'll give you a new one.
What's not allowed
- Anything illegal, including posting illegal material.
- Posting material that infringes someone's copyright or trademark.
- Pretending to be someone else, or misleading people about who you are or where you work.
- Harassing, threatening or abusing anyone.
- Spam: bulk invites, unwanted promotion, or using introductions to pitch people who didn't ask.
- Asking for an introduction again, through someone else, after the person has said no.
- Collecting other members' information with scripts, scrapers or bots.
- Trying to get past our security, or to see anything that isn't shared with you.
- Selling, renting or handing over your account.
Invite links are for the person they name. Don't publish them or pass them around.
If someone breaks the rules
- We can remove content, and suspend or close an account, for breaking these terms or the law.
- We'll tell you what we did and why, unless the law doesn't allow it.
- If you think we got it wrong, email abuse@introfirst.com and we'll look again.
- To report something, email the same address with a link to the page and what's wrong with it.
Copyright
If you think something on IntroFirst infringes your copyright, email abuse@introfirst.com with:
- the work you believe was copied, and a link to where it appears on IntroFirst;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the copyright or may act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We'll remove the material and tell the member. If they believe it was removed by mistake, they can send us a counter-notice. We close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.
Leaving, and changes
- You can export everything and delete your account at any time.
- If we ever shut IntroFirst down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data first.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you on IntroFirst at least 30 days before the change applies. If you keep using IntroFirst after that, the new terms apply.
No guarantees
- IntroFirst is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- Members are responsible for what they post and for the introductions they make or accept. We don't check what people say about themselves.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything members post or do. Our total liability to you is limited to $100.
