Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

IntroFirst is a professional network where you decide who sees what. This policy says what we store, who can see it, and what we never do.

What we never do

Signing in

You sign in with Google or Microsoft. We receive your name and email address from them, to confirm it's you and to match an invite link to the address it was made for. We don't receive your password.

What you put on your page

Your page is made of parts, and you choose who sees each one: everyone, signed-in members, or your connections. Anything set to "everyone" is public on the web and can be found by search engines.

Your content is yours

Connections and introductions

Private notes

Notes on your contacts are encrypted in your browser with a key only your devices hold. We store only the encrypted copy and can't read it. That also means we can't recover your notes if you lose your passkey and your recovery code.

Where it's stored

IntroFirst runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Pages are served through Amazon's content delivery network. We don't keep its access logs today. If we turn them on, they'll record the IP address, time and page requested, we'll use them only for security and to count visits, and we'll update this page first.
